The department includes the following sections:

                         French

                        Spanish

The department has more than 3500 students (in graduation) supervised by some 127 permanent teachers and, approximately fifty temporary teachers.

The different licenses offered by the department allow both to fit directly into the workforce but also to access different masters.

The department trains students to translation techniques, interpretation, expression and communication in a foreign language. They acquired the necessary foundations to use languages independently
