As part of its ongoing academic and pedagogical initiatives, the Supervision Unit of the Department of English held an exceptional Study Day on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, marked by the strong participation of both teachers and students.
The event was chaired by Dr. Khadidja Hammoudi, and coordinated by Dr. Lamia Ben Adla, Head of the Supervision Unit, under the supervision of Prof. Farid Daoudi, Head of the Department.
We were honored by the presence of Prof. Abderrahmane Kherbouche, Dean of the Faculty, whose continuous support and encouragement are deeply appreciated, as well as Prof. Fawzi Bendahmane, University Coordinator of the Supervision Units. Both delivered inspiring addresses emphasizing the Unit’s pivotal role in fostering student success and enhancing academic performance.
The Study Day featured oral presentations and poster sessions showcasing the importance of pedagogical supervision and academic mentoring. Participants explored the various services and opportunities provided by the Supervision Unit, including guidance, academic counseling, and personalized support.
The Supervision Unit invites all students of the Department to join its programs and take full advantage of its services, with the goal of strengthening their skills and ensuring lasting academic success.

Coordination Meeting – Thursday, October 2, 2025
Chaired by Dr. Lamia Ben Adla, Coordinator of the Tutoring and Support Unit, and under the supervision of Prof. Farid Daoudi, Head of the English Language Department, a coordination meeting was held today bringing together the members of the unit.
The meeting addressed several important issues. Participants agreed on the upcoming organization of a study day dedicated to the Tutoring and Support Unit. This initiative aims to encourage first-year students to join the unit and benefit from the services it provides.
The Tutoring and Support Unit invites all students to prepare for this event and take advantage of the opportunities it will offer to enrich and strengthen their academic journey.
